Day 3 - The first Bluebird

08.45 - Bluebird and copious amounts of corduroy

Students were treated to the best dawn yet. The Rockies certainly looked beautiful as the sun started to rise. The students were punctual and a wholesome swift breakfast was taken and we headed off for the mountain nice and early.

All of the students met up with their instructors. Many were at the top of the Eagle Express before the sun was above the mountain ridges. All students in all groups progressed well despite some of our students and staff feeling a little under the weather.

Evening Entertainment

To accommodate the QM Snow Patrollers we split the group. The boys went to the 2 screen cinema. The choices were Lego move 2 and Alita. North American candy, popcorn and soda had by everyone. The girls went to the local hockey arena, the girls were treated to a training session and then a demo game. We even saw the coaches do a mock ice hockey brawl. The girls enjoyed the snacks served up by Josh at the kiosk. Some stopped to see the older teams train and a few braved the cold to seek out the local 7 Eleven. It is accordingly on several students bucket lists! They enjoyed a candy over load, hot drinks and assorted Slurpee drinks in huge sizes.

Unfortunately the hats of the day were saved for day due to our limited time between activities.
