Cold fresh PoW - Day 1

Saturday

Saturday was fun-packed! Wake-up was 6.00 am. After a sumptuous breakfast, in the precious moments before dawn, QMHS and QMGS took a crisp trek around the corner from Chateau Jasper to the ski boot fitting session. (And wasn't it delightful to see our Mercian colleagues from Shire Oak in the lodge too?)

Once the girls and boys were decked up for a day's skiing, we took the twenty-minute coach drive to Marmot Basin. It was a misty morning, day dawning as we cruised through the mountains.

We've been treated to great ski tutors, tailoring their tuition to the abilities of our skiers - from the novices to the experts. Students set off in their groups and enjoyed a brilliant morning of skiing - we're giving away our status as Britishers; we ought to say it was AWESOME... It was!
