Welcome to season 2015/16

Welcome back snow patrollers, our ski season is about to begin and by half term most of the US's mid west ski resorts will have some of their slopes open for skiing and riding. I have some fabulous news too. As of 18th October 2015, Killington, Vermont USA will have its first lift turning with some fine skiing to be had. This will probably be the first resort in the east. Provided mother nature is on our side then the conditions will only getting better. The conditions in February should be absolutely amazing.

Trip administration will now build up starting with some updates to our paper work. Several school meetings will take place over the remaining time up to Christmas so make sure you attend them all. We will be inviting parents to an information evening during November. The meeting will cover all aspects of the trip, including safety, what to wear, activities and a resort overview.

Below is the most up to date information we have regarding our ski tour for 2016:

• UK airport transfer from QMHS to LHR
• Departure LHR to JFK 13/02/16 - BA113 - 11.30 (GMT) - 14.25(EST) (GMT-5 hours)
• 6 nights bed and breakfast at the Days Inn Rutland
• 6 evening meals on a dine around schedule to include:-
• Ponderosa
• Denny's
• 5 days skiing at Killington including:-
• Ski shuttle
• Lift ticket
• Skis/pole/boots and helmets as needed
• Professional instruction
• Fully comprehensive insurance for winter sports
• Stopover in NYC
• 3 hours shopping at Woodbury Common outlets
• Evening meal in Time Square
• Breakfast in NYC
• Use of tour coach on our last day in NYC
• NYC activities to be confirmed
