NYC

After some bargains and culinary indulgences, we have left Danburyfair and are now entering the state of New York. Tonight we will be taking a meal at The Hard Rock Cafe and walking through Time Square.

Danburyfair Mall, CT

Road Trip - Pit stop - South of Portland

We have just had our first pit stop. the students have stocked up on snacks and have possibly overdosed on special M&M's, Mint and Birthday Cake! The coffee was good too!

Our ETA with the Mall is 14.00 EDT so I am sure we will have another pit stop on the way!

Road Trip - Are we nearly there yet!?

Well... not quite but we are in the next state and the mall is in this state Connecticut!

Road Trip Update - South of Boston

We are doing well on our long road trip. We have about 100 miles to go to the Mall at Danbury.

Goodbye to the loaf

The final leg of our ski tour is about to start. We have a 6.00 breakfast and then a road trip to NYC. The route will take in several states on the east coast. We will be stopping for plenty of retail therapy. A big thank you to everyone at Sugarloaf for making the end of our tour fantastic.

QMHS Ski legend 2014 - Kayleigh Hill

Kayleigh has skied with her family many times before joining QM; however, when she got the chance to ski on the QM Snowpatrol in year 8 she did. That was 6 year's ago and she has been on every trip since. This is lucky and special, as Kayleigh moved to the senior years she has also been very helpful in organising the blog and cutting videos together, for which we are all really grateful. Kayleigh is only one of a few girls to be presented with this award. Kayleigh has skied at the following resorts:-

2009 - Northstar-at-Tahoe, CA, USA
2010 - Jungfrau, Switzerland
2011 - Crystal Mountain, WA, USA
2012 - Waterville Valley, NH, USA
2013 - Claviere, Italy
2014 - Sunday River & Suagrloaf, ME, USA

Although everyone has not had an award the 36 student have all been amazing and have developed their skiing to another level so well done to everyone.

The way the day began...

Mr. Curry's use of the golden shirt saw his skiing go from good to the stratospheric.

Next... road trip to New York City.

I hope you have all enjoyed our ski experience and remember as Warren Miller would say... 'If you don't ski this year you will be one year older when you do'

Next up for the QM Snowpatrol is the Spanish Pyrenees - Cerler
