Homebound

Our final day on the slopes was brilliant. We will regularly up date this post with our journey progress.

We left in good time and have a Calais ETA of 12.00am local time. If we get an early ferry we will be back at QMHS earlier than the times printed.

We have checked in everyone's passports and the coach is pretty silent!

Good morning all, we are making great progress. The snow patrol are still sleepy. We are just over an hour away from Calais.

Everyone is looking forward to breakfast and the hope of an early ferry.

We have just arrived at Calais ferry port.

We have been put in the 12 00 ferry. This is 3 hours early. So early indication would be a 6.30pm at school. 🙂

Passport control went smoothly. We now have an hour at the terminal. Shopping time.

White cliffs of Dover can only mean one thing...

just waiting to go back to the coach.12.30 UK time.

We are leaving Folkstone having put £875.15 of fuel in...

We still expect to be back close to 17.15 and are currently making good progress on the M25, not too busy really. 

We will update close to home.

The coach is very quiet and we have a few sleepy staff...

M25 delays.... We are moving again now but it has hit our ETA.

We need to see what the eta is after the traffic. It is possible that we will have stop. This will delay us and extra 45 minutes due to driver rest time rules. We will update everyone, once we know more.

New school arrival time of 18.15.

Students have been asked to update parents about our driver running out of driver's hours due to traffic. So we will be at school for 7.05pm subject to traffic. This is much better than late evening. Many thanks, Snow Patrol 2025.

The snow patrol 2025 made is safely back to school for 7pm. The group were simply amazing a credit to themselves, school and families. Until next time stay safe and remember... "If you don't ski this year you'll be one year older when you do".
