We took a trip into Andalo and found La Stua, a quaint restaurant right in the middle of town that was open for business and delighted at the prospect of a school group of hungry students and staff. Hot chocolates, paninis, croissants and coffee were firm favourites.
Next up we managed to get ourselves in for our ski fit at 11am which was four hours earlier than planned and what a speedy experience it was. The ski fit sent minibuses to collect us from the hotel and whizzed us through; all very professional and efficient. Our boots and skis are now in an out building right next to where our ski day will begin tomorrow morning.
Then it was time to check in, unpack and freshen up before we took a walk into Andalo to visit the supermarket and grab some treats.
Plenty of content looking students before returning back to our hotel for a very hearty, Italian meal. A number of sleepy looking faces at the dinner table so it was a quick introduction to the splat and dude hat before we dismissed the students to go and get some much needed rest. We are very pleased to announce the new addition of a brand new dude hat that has been appropriately awarded to our very own Mrs Hodson for her thoughtful and very special Valentine's treats that she had put together for the whole Snow Patrol team. She really knows how to make us feel special.
The splat hat has been awarded to Martha who misplaced her prized possession which was thankfully found and returned by Mr Vaughan.
Keep your eye out for tomorrows winners. All students are now settling down for a super sleep before a super day out on the slopes.
