Day One

After an early start, we have arrived at Killington mountain! It's currently about -28 Celsius with a wind chill of -34, and we're just meeting the instructors. Look at that corduroy!

Antics of the day: Mr Hinks received an anonymous Valentine's Day card; Olivia went pole dancing before hitting the slopes, then bought MITTEN liners for her GLOVES; Catherine picked up someone else's skis and took them to the next area on the shuttle; Daveena went tree hugging and Benny broke the toilet!

After dinner at the Ponderosa, a few of the girls went to the supermarket whilst the others chilled out in the hotel. The year 9's are especially pleased with the choice of food on offer. And the seasonings, of which the wotsit got a bit extra.

Splat hat went to Catherine for the ski swap incident, and dude hat went to the Hinkanator for 'roasting' the boys of the other school, deicing goggles, helping with the beginner group and parting the QM Snowpatrol like the Red Sea.
