After a soggy ski yesterday we were all feeling tired and in need of an easy day however, the mountain had other ideas and threw some ice into the mix. The sheets of ice caused problems before we even hit the slopes, with members of the snow patrol ending up flat out on the ice with not a ski in sight (Mentioning no names: Mrs R-B)
Despite the weather all groups had a great day with lots of laughs, falls and heat. Group 1 ventured onto their first chair lift of the week; mastering the technique with ease. Group 2 spent the day trail blazing through the ice on greens and blues, skiing over 10 miles throughout the day. Group 3 slid down some slick black slopes, improving their technique and gaining some speed.
The aesthetic picture which we sacrificed the feeling in our fingers and toes for

Mrs R-B couldn't take the heat and had to stop for a little rest...

Group 2, ready to run

There's always time for a selfie

The selfie stick is out again

Someone wants their second helping of ice-cream
After a full day of skiing food was top of our priority list with Denny's providing some much needed nourishment. After a real American Diner experience we headed over to Friendly's for a second helping of ice cream and classic American hospitality.
Splat hat went to Celeste for back surfing down the blue run. Dude hat went to Anjali for solo lift riding.
