After lots of rain during the night we awoke to a cool frozen landscape with a few snow flurries. Students were very efficient and we left the Black Bear Lodge at 8.30 for our breakfast at base lodge. Everyone welcomed the fruit 🍓 🍑 and selection of breads and cream cheese. The American pancakes and maple syrup was nice too.
Lessons commenced at 9.30. The groomed snow was still hard today. As the sun broke out the conditions became nice in many spots across the mountain. All of the groups progressed well supported by the extra instructors that Waterville Valley provided for us.
The views were spectacular today. Lots of pictures and videos below. We will place some on our Instagram account to.

Our Snow Patrollers shared our fun from the day through many reinactments of the days events. Some epic tails from Eleanor and Molly, Zara T, Katie, Manya and Chloe plus Jorgie and Mr Lee.
Out day 2 winners were:
Splat - Eleanor and Mr Lee
Dude - Willow and Molly

Hey everyone! Not keen on that overnight rain. Not what you want in a ski resort for sure! Good to see that the sunshine brought back the better ski conditions. Pleased to see that the "Splat" and "Dude" traditions are being upheld. It's an honour to wear those. Do so with pride and make sure Mr. Hinks gets an opportunity (he has a habit of falling over on the flat :-D). The "mooses" are out in force too. Love it! Keep the pictures and videos coming. It's a great way of connecting with us folks back home. Ski safe, Mrs. H :-)
