Day 3 - Perfect corduroy and no hand of god required

The day started as usual with a hearty breakfast. As we walked to breakfast we could see that there was a few cm of fresh snow and the piste groomers had been working their magic. The runs were simply awesome today. Lots of groups have been to the summit where conditions were even better.

We now have 100% of the group using the chair lifts.

Splat - Oliver

Tortoise - Olivia

Group 1 made their biggest move to explore the mountain. They rode their first chair lift. Mrs. Rochfort was primed to capture the carnage as they got off the lift. They also went down a wooded trail called MOUSTACHE.

Group 2 have explored more of the runs off the Toby chair and the One mile quad.

Group 3, 4 and 5 all went to the summit and explored more of the mountain. Group 3 did some bumps and worked on their carving. Group 5 focused on carving and the bumps.

Group 6 did 2 laps of Roys Run, a nice bump run, about 1km long! Dom hit the deck on a green trail without the need for the hand of god. Then in the afternoon they went for some air time in the terrain park.

Dom - straight air and a grab

During the afternoon, Mrs. Rochfort and Frankfurter took in a few runs off the summit.

After a fabulous day we went down to the convenience store on the village gondola. Girls stocked up on candy. Lauren DJ and Mr Hinks had a special chocolate surprise. They had a peanut free Mars bar! Mmmm.

After an awesome curry served up in the great hall and some exquisite cakes, Frankfurter had 7! We went to the Panorama springs thermal pools for some fun and games. A competitive quiz took place and some (un)synchronized swimming and the aqua hakka done by Mrs. Rochfort, Mr Hinks and Benny. Unfortunately they did not win but the year 10 girls did led by a very competitive Vic.
