Mr Hinks highlighting the changeable weather on our final day!
A few pictures from breakfast to start us off...
The conditions have been different to what we have all week; misty and moody. Whilst it can make visibility a challenge in makes the snow conditions perfect. Our groups have persevered well in these conditions and had a successful morning.
Here is a selection of our fancy dress costumes on the slopes. We were very popular with the other skiers and the instructors today!

Group one headed over to the paradiso area and when asked about their morning session, all faces lit up as they shared what they had done. 'We have (almost) successfully mastered our parallel turns and had so much fun. Well done group one, this is impressive.
Group two experienced a new slope today and have had so much fun. Heading over to the paradiso area they went on the quote 'twisty, turny route' unquote and ended up skiing right down to the bottom of the gondola. An amazing feat, great stuff.
Group three set off from our midpoint meeting place and headed down the red route directly underneath the gondola. At this point in the morning that was certainly a treat.
Group four set off as one Mario with his two Luigi sidekicks and ventured over to Sunny Valley- Romano (the instructor) said it would be better visibility over there.........not quite as visible as they thought but they still skied the red routes and finished on the black run.
It's fair to say that in our fun fancy dress QM Snow Patrol are causing quite a stir on the mountains today!! A number of people shouting 'banana banana' at our very own Ant and Dec- Emily and Tara and 'pizza pizza' at our fast food costumes!
Mr Hinks, Mr Lee and Group Four have been legends today. Skiing down the gondola before lunch (oh the hardship of extra ski time) and then going back to the Abete Blu to pick up Mrs Connell and Madame Lovell along with 40 pairs of shoes to take to the ski shop. Making our lives all the easier as we can finish our day at the ski shop and return all our gear. Thanks guys.

Lunchtime, boots delivered to ski shop. Fab time on the mountain. Locals loved the fancy dress. Waiting for the bus.
Lunchtime at the Paradiso
After lunch the groups have had a great couple of hours. The conditions in the afternoon are very different to the morning so the instructors had groups one and two over in the Paradiso area whilst group four rode the button to the top and had a fun ski down. Their day finished on the black run straight down to the bottom of the slopes. Group three skied over from paradiso to the other button lift to have some fun last ski time before successfully navigating their way down a black run! Well done all!
All groups skied down to the chair lift next to the ski shop- a few wobbles as it was the biggest slope some of our groups have done but they all did it! Big shout out to Aneeka who was the very last member of group two looking over the precipice of the slope before conquering it; taking her time with wide curves on the slope. The best moment was when all our groups met on the final slope skiing together just as we came to the end of our run. A great end to a very special week!!
