Day 1 Bluebird and fresh POW

Day 1 Splat Hat

Jess is day 1 splat for coach star antics. I think she is a contender for tomorrow!

Well the QM Smowpatrol awoke to a perfect bluebird sky after 10 cm of fresh snow.

The team were well organised after a good continental breakfast. The 6 ski groups were sorted and we set off to the slopes on a resort bus.

We have had a great ski day with lots of progression with some students moving groups after the lunch break.

Ski Day 1Photos

Following a great ski day the group were treated to another great wholesome Italian meal. Following this we have had our nominations for our day 2 hat wearers, there were a rather large number of splats!

Jinx
Emily (Group 5) for sitting on button lift and delaying the ski proceedings for some time!

Splat
Ben (now of Group 5) for wiping out on button lift, getting tangled up and then having an altercation with the subsequent button lifts from fellow skiers still coming up the hill.

Dude

Celeste (Group 6) for getting into group 6 and skiing very stylishly. 👍✋

The groups have been out this evening to check the shops out and spend some time in the local arcade. Someone appears to be a ticket millionaire!

It's snowing and boot and ski fitting has commenced.

Is a powder day looming?

Switzerland

We are progressing well all is quiet aboard the snow coach as we have passed through a very rainy France. Switzerland looks to be the same. So we are expecting even more fresh snow in the mountains. Pictures will follow soon. 😀❄🏔

Ah

We are now on our final part of the journey over the Swiss mountain passes into St. Mortiz. Hoping for some photos at the top.

Welcome to Dover

After some skillful packing by our transfer driver, Leigh, we set off for Dover. The journey was smooth and everyone is ready for a leg stretch on our crossing.

We are just waiting for our ferry now.

We are on the 20.15 ferry as planned.
