Switzerland

We are progressing well all is quiet aboard the snow coach as we have passed through a very rainy France. Switzerland looks to be the same. So we are expecting even more fresh snow in the mountains. Pictures will follow soon. 😀❄🏔

Parents evening - thank you

We are very pleased with the turn out for our ski 2018 information evening. Parents and students were excited about the adventure that lies ahead and we had some excellent helpful questions.

We are sorry we had no sound for our video and slides. If you want to get a flavour of Aprica please click on the link below:-

If you missed the evening then please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Hinks or Mr. Rendu through the usual communication lines. The handout is also available from your teacher.

Please remember to view the information about the Skiway code and ensure your photocopy of  your passport and EHIC are with Mr. Hinks/Mr.Rendu asap.

Ski 2019

SnowPatrol 2019!

We are just putting the finishing touches to our 2019 ski tour. We will be doing a joint trip once more during February half term.

The trip will see the schools head back to the Canadian Rockies, this time to ski the Marmot Basin, Jasper. This will be a snow filled week seeing the group complete 30 hours of skiing and many great snow activities. The exact details will be on here soon. Patrollers you can get letters from Mr. Hinks and Mr, Rendu week commencing 4th December.

The trip will be delivered by Select School Travel, they have put together a fabulous package that will see the group staying just outside Banff, Alberta. Our accommodation for the week will be the Lobstick Lodge.

An impressive ski area that got bigger for season 2017/18...

Snow Patrol 2018

Welcome to season 2017/18

Welcome back snow patrollers, our ski season is now well underway. The first races of the season have been completed in Finland and North America. Many European resorts are now open. Aprica has also had some good early season snow and has also been able to open. Provided mother nature is on our side then the conditions will only get better. The conditions in February should be absolutely amazing.

Trip administration is now almost done and the last bits of paper work are being sorted. Our parents information evening is being held at Queen Mary's Grammar School this year and commences at 6.30pm in the main hall. The meeting will cover all aspects of the trip, including safety, what to wear, activities and a resort overview.
